AREA OF APPLICATION
For permanently waterproof bridging of expansion and connection joints, pipe penetrations, floor drains, and room corners in conjunction with Ceresit waterproof flexible sealing products under ceramic coverings of tiles and slabs. For indoor and outdoor use. For floor and wall. Particularly for highly stressed and critical areas in residential and industrial construction. Preferred areas of application are e.g. terraces, balconies, arcades, wet cells, industrial kitchens, swimming pools, laboratories, and areas of the food industry. Tested in the system with the sealing products CL 50 and CL 51. The bound breaker strip applied on the back creates additional safety. It prevents the possible, damaging three-flank adhesion. This way, the elastic band can reliably absorb movements in the joint and avoids the formation of acoustic bridges between components.
