The EPR 3500 is a successful combination of mechanics, electrics and software engineering.
With flat polishing tools, convex edges on the stone can be shaped and polished. The machine has the fastest patented automatic tool change on the market.
EPR 3500 has a patented motor that can pneumatically extend and retract its grinding unit & uses different pressures to adapt the workload of the tools to the stone. It can be programmed at any angle and in any position on your edge to achieve incredibly high-quality results.
Software and control panel
Free updates during the lifetime of the machine. The software was created in AitalMAC and allows the operator to use the machine and also to set up new programs. The machine is able to store and retrieve & execute programs as needed.
There are 3 pressure regulators, a potentiometer for speed control, emergency and LED fault lights for quick troubleshooting.
10 pneumatic clamps
The machine is equipped with 10 pneumatic clamping cylinders to hold the plates in position. They are manually moved according to the position of the plate and are easily locked or released by a manual button valve.
Plate support extension
The size of the additional support for wider workpieces is 600mm x 1100mm.
The additional support keeps longer stone pieces stable and prevents them from easily breaking or tearing due to a too large free-floating overhang.
Tool preset system
The machine is equipped with a tool preset system that can automatically measure the thickness of the grinding tool.
The machine has an optical probe mounted on the head to automatically detect the position of the stone on the bench.
Plate Alignment Stop
A long stop is mounted on the bridge.
This stop allows the operator to precisely align the stone, enabling precise edge processing.
Tool carousel
The machine comes with a tool carousel with 10 tool holders. The carousel is designed for quick tool change and can be rotated 360°. The tools themselves are not included as standard
